Cartas como Tóptero reconstruido

The Reconstructed Thopter finds its wings within a unique niche of artifact creatures in MTG. Its parallels can be drawn with cards such as Ornithopter, which also boasts the convenience of a zero mana cost for taking flight. However, Reconstructed Thopter distinguishes itself with an added layer of utility, granting it the potential for modification post deployment.

Hovermyr enters the arena with a similar form, carrying both flying and vigilance for a modest mana investment. While it lacks the adaptability of Reconstructed Thopter, its inherent abilities make it a solid choice for players seeking immediate board impact. Then there’s Thopter Engineer, which not only supplies haste to artifact creatures but also gifts a Thopter token upon entering the battlefield. Although not a pure Thopter itself, it synergizes smoothly with the theme.

Weighing these options, Reconstructed Thopter emerges with a distinctively flexible role amidst its aerial artifact peers. Its potential for evolution on the field allows for strategic depth that can be pivotal in MTG matches, making it a card worth considering for decks that prize ingenuity and adaptability.

Card Pros

Card Advantage: Reconstructed Thopter shines by generating multiple artifact tokens, which can be leveraged for card draw with other synergistic cards, or even sacrificed for various effects, keeping you ahead in resources.

Resource Acceleration: This card is capable of ramping up your mana by providing artifact tokens. These tokens can interact with cards that tap artifacts for mana or convert artifacts into direct mana sources, propelling your game plan forward much faster than usual.

Instant Speed: The beauty of Reconstructed Thopter lies in its flexibility. Being able to deploy thopter tokens at instant speed means you can adapt to the board state on the fly, whether that’s surprising an opponent with unexpected blockers or using them for a sudden synergy before your next turn.

Card Cons

Discard Requirement: One downside to using Reconstructed Thopter is the necessity to discard a card, which could deplete your hand especially when you’re trying to maintain card advantage.

Specific Mana Cost: This card requires a unique combination of mana to play, which may not fit seamlessly into every strategy, particularly if your deck doesn’t routinely generate the necessary types of mana.

Comparatively High Mana Cost: With a mana cost that’s on the higher end, Reconstructed Thopter may not be the most mana-efficient option available for creating flying artifacts or for defensive strategies, particularly when compared to other cards in the same mana range.

Reasons to Include in Your Collection

Versatility: Reconstructed Thopter can seamlessly integrate into artifact-centric decks and those that revolve around synergies with flying creatures. It’s a flexible card that can serve multiple roles, from an efficient blocker to an evasive attacker.

Combo Potential: This card shines in combos. It works well with cards that capitalize on artifacts entering the battlefield or being sacrificed, unlocking new layers of strategy for innovative deck builders.

Meta-Relevance: Given the prevalence of certain archetypes that focus on creature-based strategies, Reconstructed Thopter offers a strategic edge. Its ability to constantly present threats in the air can tilt the scales in favor of a more versatile gameplay approach.

How to Beat

Reconstructed Thopter presents a technical challenge to MTG players aiming to secure a win. At its core, this resourceful artifact creature brings mobility and incremental advantage to the battlefield, which can be difficult to intercept if not addressed promptly. One effective tactic is to prioritize removal spells that can target artifacts or flying creatures, such as Abrade or Naturalize, that can dispatch the Thopter before it gains momentum. Similarly, board sweepers like Wrath of God can reset the board, nullifying any advantages gained through the deployment of multiple Thopters.

Countering the Reconstructed Thopter’s abilities is another viable strategy. Utilizing cards that restrict or penalize the tapping and untapping of artifacts can be particularly debilitating for a deck relying on Thopter synergy. Cards like Damping Sphere demonstrate their worth in such scenarios. For a more proactive approach, seizing control of the game through aggressive strategies or setting up defenses with reach can effectively deter Thopter’s aerial assaults. By understanding its flight path, strategic players can clip the wings of the Reconstructed Thopter and maintain dominance in the game.

Ultimately, while Reconstructed Thopter is an intriguing card with potential for constructive play, by preparing the right countermeasures and maintaining strategic board control, players can ensure that these mechanical marvels don’t dictate the outcome of the match.

Fecha Texto
2022-10-14 Activating a card's unearth ability isn't the same as casting that card. The unearth ability is put on the stack, but the card is not. Spells and abilities that interact with activated abilities (such as Defabricate's second mode) will interact with unearth, but spells and abilities that interact with spells (such as Scatter Ray) will not.
2022-10-14 At the beginning of the next end step, a permanent returned to the battlefield with unearth is exiled. This is a delayed triggered ability, and it can be countered by effects such as Defabricate that counter triggered abilities. If the ability is countered, the permanent will stay on the battlefield and the delayed triggered ability won't trigger again. However, the replacement effect will still exile the permanent if it eventually leaves the battlefield.
2022-10-14 If a permanent returned to the battlefield with unearth would leave the battlefield for any reason, it's exiled instead—unless the spell or ability that's causing the permanent to leave the battlefield is actually trying to exile it! In that case, it succeeds at exiling it. If that spell or ability later returns the card to the battlefield (as Static Net might, for example), the permanent card will return to the battlefield as a new object with no relation to its previous existence. The unearth effects will no longer apply to it.
2022-10-14 If you activate a card's unearth ability but that card is removed from your graveyard before the ability resolves, that unearth ability will do nothing as it resolves.
2022-10-14 Unearth grants haste to the permanent that's returned to the battlefield (even if it's not a creature card). However, neither of the "exile" abilities is granted to that permanent. If that permanent loses all its abilities, it will still be exiled at the beginning of the next end step, and if it would leave the battlefield, it is still exiled instead.
