Card Pros

Card Advantage: When engaging with Siani, Eye of the Storm, players have the opportunity to gain card advantage. Each time you cast a spell with a flying creature, an extra card enters your hand, ensuring that your resources remain plentiful and you maintain a competitive edge in the late game.

Resource Acceleration: Siani allows for resource acceleration by potentially untapping all your lands during each opponent’s untap step. This can lead to explosive turns where you can cast multiple spells, ramping up your available mana and propelling you ahead of your adversaries.

Instant Speed: The ability to untap lands at instant speed provides incredible flexibility. It lets you adopt a reactive playstyle, holding back resources until the most opportune moment, such as responding to an opponent’s threats or optimizing your own strategy at the end of their turn.

Card Cons

Discard Requirement: Siani, Eye of the Storm demands that you remove two other cards from your hand to unleash its full potential. This requirement can be a significant setback when your hand size is dwindling and every card counts.

Specific Mana Cost: This card’s casting cost mandates both blue and white mana, imposing a building restriction on decks. The necessity for this particular mana combination can be a hurdle for players not running an azorius color scheme.

Comparatively High Mana Cost: With a casting cost of four mana, Siani may come onto the battlefield later than other creatures that offer similar advantages. This can be particularly challenging in fast-paced games where tempo is crucial.

Reasons to Include Siani Eye of the Storm in Your Collection

Versatility: Siani Eye of the Storm is a unique fit for numerous deck types, offering both scrying and flying capabilities. This means that it can provide consistent deck filtering while also serving as an evasive creature, perfect for Commander and other formats that value such flexibility.

Combo Potential: The ability of this card to scry with each attack makes it a perfect addition to decks that revolve around manipulating the top of the library. It works well with cards that benefit from or enable scrying, adding depth to your strategic plays.

Meta-Relevance: As the game landscape currently values cards that provide incremental advantage and utility, Siani Eye of the Storm holds relevance. It offers an ongoing way to ensure you’re drawing the right cards at the right time and fits well into decks that focus on air superiority and information management.

How to beat Siani, Eye of the Storm

Siani, Eye of the Storm, is a card that can shift the tides in a player’s favor with its ability to constantly scry upon flying creatures attacking. To effectively counter this MTG card, assess your deck for options that limit your opponent’s flying capabilities. A strategic move can include using cards that ground creatures or adjust your attack to bypass Siani’s influence. For example, employing removals like ‘Murder’ to eliminate Siani before it can become a persistent thorn in your side is a smart tactic. Cards with reach or those that can deal damage without being declared as attackers can also help you maintain control.

Alternatively, you could incorporate strategies to discourage your opponent from attacking. Making use of board wipes like ‘Wrath of God’ can clear the skies, rendering Siani’s advantage null. Also, keeping instant-speed removal in hand can catch your opponent off-guard, removing Siani during the combat phase before its ability triggers. The key lies in adapting your playstyle – be always ready to dismantle your opponent’s strategy and recognize when it’s best to press the attack or thwart theirs.

BurnMana Recommendations

Grasping the synergy and tactics surrounding Siani, Eye of the Storm can catapult your MTG gameplay to impressive heights. Leveraging its ability to grant card advantage and resource acceleration can profoundly influence the board state in your favor. Yet, consider the trade-offs it demands—hand management and its affinity for specific mana types. For those enchanted by the art of aerial supremacy, adding Siani to your collection may be a wise maneuver. By understanding similar cards and counterstrategies, you can refine your deck-building skills and gameplay strategies. Hungry for more insights and ways to optimize your deck with Siani? Cartas como Siani, Ojo de la Tormenta

Siani, Eye of the Storm is a unique creature card that offers strategic aerial control in Magic: The Gathering. Siani shares similarities with creatures like Thrummingbird, which also enables manipulation of counters, albeit through proliferation during combat. What differentiates Siani is its ability to venture into the deck, revealing a card at random which could potentially play at no cost when you attack with a certain number of creatures with flying.

Another card worthy of comparison is Windreader Sphinx, which boasts a different yet somewhat similar ability. The Sphinx lets you draw a card whenever a creature with flying attacks, providing consistent card advantage. While it doesn’t allow for potential free plays like Siani does, it compensates with its bulkier body. Then we have Watcher of the Spheres, which not only reduces the cost of flying creatures but also draws a card when another creature with flying enters the battlefield under your control, rewarding wide strategies.

Although not quite as powerful on its own, Siani, Eye of the Storm brings a unique blend of deck manipulation and flying synergy to the table, making it a card full of potential in decks that favor aerial combat and seek to maximize the value of each attack.

Fecha Texto
2020-11-10 An effect that checks whether you control your commander is satisfied if you control one or both of your two commanders.
2020-11-10 Both commanders start in the command zone, and the remaining 98 cards (or 58 cards in a Commander Draft game) of your deck are shuffled to become your library.
2020-11-10 If something refers to your commander while you have two commanders, it refers to one of them of your choice. If you are instructed to perform an action on your commander (e.g. put it from the command zone into your hand due to Command Beacon), you choose one of your commanders at the time the effect happens.
2020-11-10 If your Commander deck has two commanders, you can only include cards whose own color identities are also found in your commanders' combined color identities. If Falthis and Kediss are your commanders, your deck may contain cards with black and/or red in their color identity, but not cards with green, white, or blue.
2020-11-10 Once the game begins, your two commanders are tracked separately. If you cast one, you won't have to pay an additional the first time you cast the other. A player loses the game after having been dealt 21 damage from any one of them, not from both of them combined.
2020-11-10 To have two commanders, both must have the partner ability as the game begins. Losing the ability during the game doesn't cause either to cease to be your commander.
2020-11-10 Use the number of attacking creatures with flying as the ability resolves to determine the value of X.
2020-11-10 You can choose two commanders with partner that are the same color or colors. In Commander Draft, you can even choose two of the same commander with partner if you drafted them. If you do this, make sure you keep the number of times you've cast each from the command zone clear for "commander tax" purposes.
